Eleuterio Arcese, Verona, Italy, has worked to promote the sport of Reining in Europe for the past twenty years through his involvement with NRHA, the Italian Reining Horse Association, and the Italian Quarter Horse Association. He has been host to multiple reining clinics and sponsored major NRHA and AQHA reining events in Europe. As an avid breeder of performance horses, Arcese has influenced breeding programs at his facilities in Italy as well as in the United States. Eleuterio Arcese’s pro-active efforts to promote the event have contributed to the worldwide recognition of Reining as an international sport.

Another milestone in National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) history was made following the 2008 NRHA Futurity & Adequan North American Affiliate Championship Show (NAAC). Arcese Quarter Horses USA, Weatherford, Texas, became the NRHA’s third Million Dollar Owner with horses surpassing the million-dollar mark with earnings accumulated at the 2008 Italian Futurity and 2008 NRHA Futurity and NAAC Show. Outstanding reining horses owned by Arcese Quarter Horses USA include 2007 NRHA Futurity, 2008 NRBC and 2008 NRHA Derby Champion Wimpys Little Chic, 2009 NRHA Futurity Champion and 2010 Derby Champion Gunnatrashya, 2007 NRHA Derby Champion Walla Walla Whiz, plus the likes of Custom Mahogany, Whizs Chic A Dee, Saturdaynight Custom, Custom Lena and Electrical Flash.
